Please use these contact details for any questions about data protection on this website. We have not appointed a data protection officer; we are not legally required to do so.
What this policy covers
This policy describes what happens when you use this website. You will receive separate information about the processing of your health and treatment data at the practice itself.
Principle
You can read this website without telling us anything about yourself. We use no analytics, tracking or advertising services, we do not build user profiles, and we do not pass data on for advertising purposes. For the same reason there is no consent banner on this site: there is nothing we would need your consent for.
Encrypted transmission
This website is transmitted exclusively in encrypted form (TLS), which you can recognise by „https” in the address bar and the padlock symbol in your browser. Even so, data transmission over the internet – especially by e-mail – can have security gaps; complete protection against access by third parties is not possible.
Server logs
Each time a page is opened, the server automatically stores data in log files: the address requested, date and time, the amount of data transferred, the previously visited page, browser type and version, the operating system and the IP address. This data is technically necessary to deliver the page and serves stability and security. It is not combined with other data and is not evaluated for statistics.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and trouble-free operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The logs are kept only briefly and are deleted as soon as they are no longer required for these purposes. If there are concrete indications of unlawful use, we reserve the right to examine them for longer.
Hosting
The website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, owner René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. The provider processes the above data solely on our behalf; a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place. The servers are located in Germany.
Cookies
This website sets only a single cookie, and a strictly necessary one at that: pll_language. It stores whether you have chosen the German or the English version, so that you do not have to choose again on every page.
We do not use cookies for audience measurement, for recognising visitors or for advertising. Anyone logging into the editorial area additionally receives the WordPress login cookies; this concerns staff only.
The legal basis for these strictly necessary cookies is Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG together with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. You can delete or block cookies in your browser at any time; individual functions of the site may then not work as intended.
Fonts
The fonts used on this website (Fraunces and IBM Plex Sans) are stored on our own server and loaded from there. Opening the site therefore creates no connection to Google or any other provider, and no IP address is transmitted to third parties.
Contacting us by e-mail or telephone
If you write to us or call us, we process your details in order to deal with your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the matter concerns the initiation or performance of a treatment relationship, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We keep your message for as long as it is needed to handle your request; statutory retention periods, in particular for patient records, remain unaffected.
Our mailbox is operated via Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland) as a processor on the basis of an agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Processing by group companies outside the EU cannot be entirely ruled out; Microsoft bases such transfers on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Please do not send us health data in unencrypted e-mails. For confidential matters, please call us instead.
Appointments via Doctolib
For appointments we link to the booking service Doctolib (Doctolib GmbH, Berlin). The service is not embedded in our website: as long as you do not click the link, no data whatsoever is transmitted to Doctolib. Clicking takes you off our website, where Doctolib’s own privacy policy applies.
Google Maps
On the contact page we offer a map showing how to find us. It is loaded only after you explicitly click „Load map”. Before that, no connection to Google is established. With your click, your IP address and further connection data are transmitted to Google, which may involve a transfer to the USA. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
The legal basis is your consent, given by that click (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG). You are free not to load the map; the address and a text link for route planning are available regardless. For details see Google’s privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
Links to external content
In the TV/Media and Publications sections we link to contributions hosted by broadcasters, newspapers, podcast providers and video platforms. This content is linked, not embedded: no data is transmitted unless you click the respective link. The providers of those pages are responsible for them; we have no influence on their data processing.
Retention
We store personal data only for as long as it is required for the respective purpose or as long as statutory retention periods require. After that, the data is deleted.
Your rights
You have the right to obtain information about the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16), to erasure (Art. 17), to restriction of processing (Art. 18) and to data portability (Art. 20). You may object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on a legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR). Consent once given can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
Irrespective of this, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin, Germany.
No automated decision-making
No automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.
